A Little About Us...

MACS Lab, Inc. was founded in 1990 by Jim Richards and Charles Landau to provide quality analytical services and field consultation services. Over the years environmental regulations have become more and more stringent making choosing an environmental consulting and analytical laboratory more and more challenging. We have served our clients well over the years. There have been a lot of outfits, both big and small, that came in and out of this business for the "fast buck". In many cases they left their clients high and dry when they moved on to greener pastures. They promised that big was better and how could those little labs and consultants provide the services that us big guys can. Now after the EPA lawsuits and the withdrawal from the market of many of these "big and better" companies many of us little guys who did the job right in the first place are here picking up the pieces. We may not have 20 locations and a staff of lawyers splitting hairs with the law but rather we have one well run laboratory and our consultants follow and advise our clients to meet the requirements of the law regarding environmental issues. In the end that is by far the least expensive and most ethical way of handling our environmental responsibilities.

What has become of your asbestos inspections or laboratory analysis that were made some years ago by a now non-existent company? At MACS Lab, your environmental, health, and safety concerns are our concerns. MACS Lab maintains a complete database of all analysis ever performed by our company. We can search for data using dozens of possible data fields. Our information technology specialists are just another service we provide our customers. Using this technology we have been able to salvage some or large parts of inspections performed in the past by many now defunct companies. We make a point of staying up-to-date on the newest environmental issues and regulations, so you can spend your own time more productively. Furthermore we have been here, are here now and plan to be around in the future to serve your needs.
